Jochen Lempert
El trabajo de Jochen Lempert (Alemania, 1958) trata el medio fotográfico desde lo visual y desde la investigación; a menudo, con la intención de cuestionar los criterios de búsqueda de la verdad y los modelos que construyen el mundo. El artista retrata el mundo animal en los contextos más diversos: desde el hábitat natural hasta el museo de Historia Natural, desde el zoo a la ciudad, en lugares remotos o en situaciones u objetos banales. En su incesante búsqueda, Lempert ha conseguido crear un vasto archivo de imágenes cubriendo un amplio espectro que abarca desde vistas cotidianas a composiciones que tienden hacia la abstracción. Esta muestra fue comisariada por Miguel Wandschneider.

The work of Jochen Lempert (Germany, 1958) deals with the photographic medium from the visual and from the research; often, with the intention of questioning the criteria of searching the truth and the models that build the world. The artist portrays the animal world in the most diverse contexts: from the natural habitat to the Museum of Natural History, from the zoo to the city, in remote places or in situations or banal objects. In his incessant search, Lempert has managed to create a vast archive of images covering a broad spectrum that ranges from everyday views to compositions that tend towards abstraction. This sample was curated by Miguel Wandschneider.
