I wish he would crossover and not solely stay in the mandarin market. We desperately need real music and R&B here in the popular English market again and he could break so many stereotypes here. plus if he's fluent in English and has english songs...its a no brainer. why must just cheesy overmanufactured kpop with stars who don't know english and are forced to be "urban" be so popular here. don't stay under the radar Khalil, make Conan know who you are!!

he said he's more fluent in English than Chinese but according to his profile, he spent more years in China. did he attend international school or something?? I'm just curious.

light80050 I think it's like how many people are when they're not native speakers of a country's national language - he probably spoke Chinese at school or in public, but at home with his family they mainly just spoke English which kept making English more familiar with him

He spent 5 years in Hawaii since he was born, and then moved to Shanghai lived for 6 years meanwhile going to Chinese school and taking international school online. He might consider English as the first language and Mandarin as the second.
