The problem is most of the so-called leaders don't understand that the foundation of a strong military is the nation's economic, financial and monetary systems. What we have done is financialized our entire economy. The US economy gains its growth on trading or better said, skimming financial assets. We don't build stuff anymore and we don't have the expertise or disciplined work force to make stuff. So, in consequence, when we do try and make stuff, it is 10 times as expensive as what it costs China for example. China is capable of making entire ballistic missiles systems, and far more ships and planes than the US at one tenth the cost because they have an industrial base. We have to build factories that don't now exist in order to make things; that is very expensive. Financialization in America has created a cost structure that is noncompetitive. A noncompetitive economy and financial system equal a noncompetitive military.

🇺🇸 competition is great. I think this promotes camaraderie and allows each member to exercise off the battlefield and in a different uniform a little bit of fun and the ultimate unification and respect that you all carry as United States military soldiers.
