Jodi Benson is seriously a gem and such an amazing role model for girls and women! ❤ I met her once while working as Ariel’s Photopass Photographer at Magic Kingdom and she was so sweet and down to earth 🥹 You can tell she feels very blessed and doesn’t take her life and fame for granted. God bless her! 🙏

@PrincessKaiora yes!!!!!! I very much feel that from her! She's been a blessing to us all! I sat next to a long time friend of hers in the audience. She said that during covid, Jodi went to visit her daughter in the hospital often and would encourage her. Had it not been for covid, Jodi wouldn't have ordinarily had that sort of time, (just because her job and career is so demanding) she said, but covid was a blessing in disguise for their family and they really appreciated Jodi's support at that time. ❤️ The world over has appreciated Jodi.

I am laughing at you describing the "hot" moment. I was at the performance and wondered how people would react. Jodi has done Broadway and shows in CA when she lived there (as I did) and I have seen many. I am her cousin. As her cousin, I know her personality is more Ariel so when I saw that I'm like "look the other way" and that means she was amazing that she made us all believe she was Dolly!

I love cousin bonds and relationships! God has truly used Jodie in so many people's lives! It's amazing. We loved seeing her performance! I cried and got so emotional in the scenes where she talks to Ephraim. Please tell her that some of us were moved to tears with all of those scenes. I feel like as an actress, one of the things we desire most, is to move people, to make them feel.... God used Jodie to do that. So I'm very grateful for her work. I thought it was so crazy how we sat next to Cindy Oakes Miller, as well, and were able to hear her testimony of how God used Jodi in her life also, and I got a kick out of her husband sitting in the row behind us. It made me feel closer to her somehow. God bless you and your whole entire family. Xo

One of the guys /voices you don't like in the movie is the original Phantom of the Opera, Michael Crawford 🤭. I don't think i would be able to hold it together if i saw / met Jodie Benson 🥹❤️.

I would try but been too much of a hard year for me if I saw or met her

Are you serious?! I had no idea!!!! I will have to look him up! Lololol to be clear, I think it's the role, that I didn't like, I'm sure the actor was just fine 😆 Michael Crawford.. I'm sure he is super talented if he was phantom. Lol most people love the Cornelius and Barnaby characters. Nevermind me 🙈❤️ Jodi, I hear, is always kind.

@@OakesPrincess Yes. 😄 Don't worry, I didn't think Cornelius was his best role either. By the time he was The Phantom he had been working with a singing teacher so he perfected his singing voice and played The Phantom on Broadway and The West End. He's a good actor, mostly known for his comedy here in the UK, but Phantom was definitely his best role (and his most famous) than his role Hello Dolly.

@kaylovesdisney4582 it's possible too that it was the creative direction of the director, maybe he wanted them to be that way. My husband loved Cornelius and Barnaby and thought they were the light of the Hello Dolly film. 🤣 so funny. He saw things from their point of view, I suppose. I'm glad Crawford saw so much more success in those bigger roles though. That's awesome!
