I learned decopage the old school way where you glue down the image and then build layers and layers of mod podge sanding with wet sandpaper between each layer. OMG it took weeks to make a craft. I really, really like the way you do it. So much faster and still beautiful.

Can't wait till the morning light to see which napkins i bought & if they are suited for this. I loved to decoupage with my mother back in the 70s. It was really a lot of fun. Then try yo get them cut out. Back then we would cut them out then use a lighter & burned the edges. I am going to try with a brush but i am ordering the water brushes from Amazon or go to Joann's. I just ran across this video and decided to watch it even though you created this 10 months ago. It actually fits into DIY's people are working on right now. 😁 I just love this project! You do such beautiful work with the paper napkins and mod podge. I still have not found the assortment of printed napkins that you have. They are so beautiful and work so well on whatever item you stick them to. So don't be surprised if you see me watching some of your older videos, they don't really go out of date.
