The day after Christmas 2020 in the Can Am Maverick X3 XRC Turbo RR

It was 7 Degrees when we rolled out Saturday morning, with 4" to 7" of snow on the ground. We road above Middlesboro KY most of the day. Riding in that much snow brings its own unique challenges...Trails that normally pretty tame are unusually difficult with a covering of deep snow. We had a nice lunch at a Mexican restaurant in town and then made our way back across the mountain to the trucks. We rolled in with 68 miles behind us and zero issues...the temp had climbed all the way to 24 degrees.

Yes these are public trails. You need a wma permit to ride these trails. There are campgrounds all around the area you can access the trails from.

@@joshuabright547 This was the Tackett Creek WMA, I can't recommend any campgrounds as I have never used any of them....

Ride royal blue is a good one in the middle of everything but makes for a long day when you venture to the tackett creek side from there
