Awesome Family. I had a big grin during the rocking chair part as I could see the big smile from this family. I did this hula with my two sons, 2 grandsons, Joe Momoa and Nani & Ho'okena at my Retirement Celebration past Nov. Aloha & Mahalo

😄Thatʻs great! I saw Kaipo in Kumu Kahuaʻs "Who You Again?" and he was terrific. He can dance and act -- I wonder if he can sing like his Dad, too?
I assume you are talking about the young man dancing. He is Kaipo Dudoit, and he is dancing with his parents, Nani and Horace Dudoit.

Gorgeous, sensual. They got a special reaction at 3:25 and 3:45. Was there something unusual about that move? I know nothing about this kind of dance. Was it that it is usually considered a seductive move?

This song is about a little island that used to exist in Waikīkī, and that line says, "I wish you were here with me, sitting in the rocking chair (noho paipai). Hawaiian lyrics often have a hidden meaning, or kaona, and from the hula, you can imagine what sitting in the rocking chair means.
