I'm quite surprised that Joe agreed to do this series for the BBC given his previous appearance in big films. And more surprised at all his interview appearances for a show that has not, so far, had the same impact as Normal People did. Let's hope that changes. It's stupendous. Joe sometimes looks a bit bored during these interviews and I wonder if he is just contracted to do them. Alison is dining out on them all.
