As a 50 year Bills fan, I was surprised to see the Jets completely give up. I loved it, of course, but I told a friend who was jazzed, don't be fooled. We didn't win as much as they lost. They wanted no part of it. Barkley would have gotten shellacked against any other team that day. He threw up ducks that Foster just stopped and waited for while the DB ran past them. Boles lost the team. No doubt. calling out the defense, which I think is pretty good for the Dolfins loss was head scratching. HUH? They didn't give up a TD, the offense did! I knew they would lay down when that happened. They only thing I can think of, is he has a deal with management to tank out and get one of the top 3 picks. If not, he's just stupid for saying that to his defense. He threw them under the bus, and they responded in kind.

I've followed the NFL since 2002 or so, worst Jets losses since then include 2016 Monday night vs. Colts, 2008 collapse games vs. 49ers, Seahawks, Dolphins, 2011 Christmas Eve against the Giants, 2011 against the Eagles and the infamous 2015 week 17 game against the Bills in my opinion. I'm a Giants fan, but I definitely feel Joe's pain as a die-hard Jets fan for over fifty years.

Todd Bowles has no talent. Charley Winner, Bruce Coslet and Rich Kotite were far worse as head coaches including Lou Holtz. The problem is far deeper then the coach. It is a culture of failure at the ownership level. Until the Johnson's decide to sell the team, this is the norm. There is no commitment to winning. Did Bowles draft this awful roster?
