It used to shake my old house like mad, and it sounded so good. Shame it was heavily modified, but the lack of any parts in Australia meant he didn't have much choice other than to run aftermarket and performance parts just to keep it on the road. Was a bloody nice looking car though.

My Tesla Model Y beats that 0-60 time by a half-second, while being a crossover SUV with over 60 cubic feet of cargo space. And it's not even the performance version (just the long range). Still, the 1967 Corvette's a very nice car, and a totally different driving experience. One's a functioning collectible that's super for driving/mechanical hobbyists and vehicle collectors, and the other is an economically and ecologicaly (to varying degrees, depending on where your electricity comes from) efficient, fun-to-drive piece of transportation technology. They're not mutually exclusive, and there's no reason for people who like one to be in opposition to people who like the other. For that matter, I like both; I just don't have the space and resources to keep a diesel car (my personal preference) to tool around in and an everyday car as well.

His father later managed the Chevy dealership on a salary, starting with nothing so $5000 on a 'Vette was a lot of money. It tells you a lot about his father's love seen in his own for his sons. He didn't have $440 million to loan his draft-dodging loser kid who would declare his sixth and U.S. record $1 Billion dollar bankruptcy in 2004 either, then dragged from office in disgrace. Terry Price No.. 2 of the worst canidates of all time at a point of great stress when you need good canidates. Hillary and Donald both could as easily be convicted of Felonies as they could be elected.. with our national debt looming and poor job situation.
