I loved watching Joe Bob in my late High School and early College years. Rusty's segments were always an added treat; especially when they were longer segments.

I just bought and it arrived in the mail this week, The Deliberate Stranger on DVD. I couldn't find this movie ANYWHERE to watch. I'm glad I bought it. And Joe Bob is right, it's just about the most indirect movie and Henry: Portrait of a Serial K*ller is much more informative. But this Bundy movie set the tone for a lot of movies to come.

I'm kind of stunned that they aired this miniseries on Monstervision. When I saw "The Deliberate Stranger," it was on the Lifetime Movie Network. Never would've pegged it for a venue like this.

+Winter Steele Yeah, but in a sense, this is basically what Hollywood does with all such biopics, which is to just prop them up with the watered-down rose-colored glasses version of the events; thanks for commenting. :)

I remember seeing the film on Encore's True Stories channel just one year after this airing in 1999. That channel aired pretty much nothing but made-for-TV movies so this movie making the cut for MonsterVision is indeed odd. Joe Bob mentioned in an interview a few years ago that TNT bought the rights to a bunch of movies (usually from A-PIX Entertainment or Prism Pictures) at bargain basement prices and gave the movies a lot of airings to justify paying for them in the first place so inevitably, all of those films got at least one airing on MonsterVision. So this was very likely one of the films TNT got for dirt cheap.

I'm kinda stunned that someone who watches Monstervision ALSO watches the Lifetime Movie Network! Haha! Actually, you shouldn't be ashamed by that because clearly Joe Bob has taken in a few Lifetime movies himself. He did, after all, compare the Stepfather to a Lifetime movie!

The reason is that Lorimar, the production company of the film, was spun off into Warner Bros. Television when Lorimar ceased to be in 1993 and both Warner Bros. Television and TNT were Time Warner companies.

i believe 1 step was missing from the carson city jail nacho hookup recipe, on account of the inmate that supplied it thinking that _everyone_ knows how to make ramen noodles - you're supposed to *drain* them after cooking. 1 mistake ruins all your hard work. remember this children

The fact that the twenty year-old slang used by those prisoners urks the hell out of me should be informative as to what kind of hell it is for me to be confronted with the modern and tremendously more deviant garbage that comes out of "cool" people's mouths nowadays. Nacho hookup? GFY, you caged weasels!

Thank you. Could you also check and see if your copy of Beyond Thunderdome matches the one uploaded? Because it's missing the first 2 segments as well.

Yeah, I'll check. And thank you for checking all of this, because I probably wouldn't have checked. As I said, was tired already from all the editing etc.

What a shame! Many young lovely girls were assaulted, raped and killed by a serial killer and their families were devastated and all what Hollywood did is make a miniseries of it! It 's disgusting! Shame on them!

It wasn't Hollywood's job to do anything about it. Ted Bundy was found guilty and executed by the state of Florida, so justice was served.
