It started from the control verse. But Drake got too into his feelings about that verse. The verse was just to tell hjs peers to be more competitive so hip hop becomes a little more fun. It wasn’t no diss. Drake could have responded with a similar energy just like how Cole did on Justin Timberlake’s TKO remix, it was an appropriate response to that control verse but Drake just started shitting on Dot’s moment in interviews which made Dot call him a “sensitive” rapper. So, basically they both have a hand in starting the beef.
