Yo...y'all totally dismissed Mel's point about Ezra. Just because THEY don't know who the dude is doesn't mean he's a "nobody." He's playing the most well-known speedster in comics. Majority of people will know who the Flash is over Kang the Conquerer. He's already been in Batman V Superman, both Justice League cuts, and two Harry Potter movies. But to her point, Ezra has been caught, on camera mind you, choking a chick out. He's got numerous allegations of abuse, was caught stealing and breaking into someone's house. But that doesn't get talked about and DC refuses to recast him and is STILL putting out the Flash movie. For those who don't know, they're planning to recast a majority of DC characters to reboot the franchise...but they want to keep him around. 😒 So yeah, it does look a little shady that the industry reacting like this. Not defending Majors but based off these allegations and the story...and also what's happened between Depp and Heard or Meg and Tory, I would not just jump to conclusions.

I saw some other article saying that DC/WB execs are also behind keeping him around due to the movie's high pre-screening results. DC cancelled that Batgirl movie and that was shot and completed as well. 🤔 It's like I said in another comment. It could just be them promoting the movie before it releases. Maybe they're planning on dropping him after it's done once they see the kind of numbers it pulls. But as of right now, it looks like they're keeping him around.

Salute to Mel for speaking on the situation vs the others who seem to base their input on their history. "This is how things I've know in the past has worked, so this is how this thing is being worked now." Mel seemed to speak in more of a factual nature. A. He's accused of... and he's lost these "things" i.e. Army ads. B. Ezra M. (The Flash) (The Flash is more well known than Kang (J. Majors)) - has multiple court situations and none of them has gathered this amount of negative media coverage. The Flash movie is coming out this summer. Comparison of the two is warranted. Disney is not going to war for Majors. No studio would want to be attached to domestic violence claims. I don't usually watch Joe Budden Podcast, this is my second video...I think people may like watching the personalities over getting a news story laced with well informed point of views - like what Mel was trying to provide. How many reasons can you think of for someone to cry wolf, then all of a sudden go quiet and recant their statement in the span of 3 days? It's literally a case of he said, she said, unless there is physical evidence that tells a different story. Even when the issue is done, the public may still not know the truth. So assume whatever you want. His reputation already took a hit, $$ were lost and now after the fact, someone realizes that him in jail, instead of making films, may not have been the smartest move. And since this circles around domestic violence, whatever rumors arise, will never go away.

I’m going to tell you a story; you probably won’t care, but I’m telling it anyways. When I was a teenager my older brother had a girlfriend. They used to argue all the time. One day, she was at our house and as per usual her and my brother started arguing, so she left and walked home. About 30 minutes later, her mother calls our house screaming that my brother attacked her daughter and she’s calling the cops on him. My mother, my stepfather, and myself were there; at no point did my brother lay a hand on her. The girlfriend later admitted that she was so upset that on the walk home she clawed into her own face until she started bleeding. If I didn’t see it for myself, I would’ve never believed that someone could do that to themselves. It looked as if someone had cut up her face with a knife.
