This is in my Top 5 best Joey tracks, saying I relate to this track is an understatement, it got me through so much, I was in the military when this came out, and I can remember sitting on the ship when my depression and anxiety were at its worse and when I heard the part where he personified his depression, "we roommates, I'm in your head Joe you live with me." I literally broke down and had to hold tears back because of how deep and close to home that was. Joey never lets me down.

Times, trends, and styles come and go... even though we've grown with this movement from its infancy to its current mainstream state, it could never die. Today we are flooded with music we really wouldn't listen to, but it's funny how we give it an earshot demo to see if there is still something to motivate us beyond our own capabilities like that of the past. Through all the garbage we endure in the music biz, it makes it more worth the while to find gems like Joe Budden.

Powerful. "See I'm depressed lately, but nobody understands That I'm depressed lately, I'm sorta feelin' repressed lately So y'all been hearin' and seein' me less lately Like 'has anyone noticed the regress lately?' Look deep, nigga, don't I seem stressed lately? Seem disturbed, lot of regrets lately Got a company that I'm signed to But they ain't in my company when all I need is some company When I start feelin' like e'rybody's done with me They're tryna see what e'rybody want with me Then the mistress, yeah, the girl from "10 Minutes," it's her Now I'm needin' 10 minutes from her"

@YourDrawerness This was my favorite part of Ten minutes, just amazing! I love that there's so much heart in this, and he hasn't changed at all, it's always so real, and not to mention his storytelling tracks. @YourDrawerness I was telling someone that, i hated that people only knew him from Pump It Up, meanwhile he was my favorite rapper and most relatable. I'm glad him and the other 3 quarters of the slaughter are getting their recognition, but this guy's body of work should have so much more attention. I feel the same way about All of Me when he talks about Tammy, just an amazing story. "If you don't feel what the pencil scripts, then 9 times out of 10 you ain't been through shit."-Joe Budden
