Two of my favorite guys having a chat... excellent. My Facebook has been full of Joe Burrow for the past 4-5 years. Why? I'm one of a zillion Buckeye fans who is tired of seeing Ohio State pass on Ohio players... just to watch them come back and torch Ohio State. In 2017... with Ohio State trailing Michigan 20-14... and Barrett going down with a multitude of injuries (boo-boo on his knee, diminishing passing skills, diminishing running skills, diminishing decision making, lack of confidence, and I want my mamma)... redshirt freshman Haskins came in and won the game... and also turned Joe Burrow into the beast that he is today.

I don't get this dogging about his first year at LSU, I'd have been amazed if he'd done any better. getting their late ,new play book, players, coaches, everything. The first game against Miami, it was clear, we had a good one now, time would tell how good. it did. The fact he didn't get the job at OSU or not getting recruited by Nebraska, who's fault was that, not Joe's.

I think 2018 was LSU's first 10 win season in 5 years. Burrow was just rusty. He hadn't played in three years and got a late start with the team plus LSU receivers led the NCAA in dropped balls that season. As an Ohio State fan I can tell you Joe deserved the starting job and they made a huge mistake they will never live down.
