Joe burrow would do great because he truly is an American story. Some would say that that was a low rating national championship game, but who cares. The state of Louisiana is great and it's about time somebody other than Alabama hoist up a trophy. If you guys are mad well that's just too bad because Joe burrow did The Impossible. I love a good Underdog Story. Sometimes you got to let them overlook, forgotten great quarterbacks have their moment.

this is one of the first times i genuinely agree with colin’s take. football is a big time mental builder. in basketball it’s so much easier to be the star and be coddled but with football everyone knows they absolutely need the man next to them to be on the same page with the same team agenda in order for success.

It's the last place where a man can be masculine without being derided or attacked for being masculine. The ultimate outlet of masculine energy. A man's game. Where no matter where you're from or what you look like, a man will make it. Anything less than a man will fail.

Burrow didn't just capture Louisiana. He captured the nation. There will never be another Joey Burrow and at least I lived long enough to see him play two seasons. He was one of those iconic enigma's that you only see once in a lifetime, that movies are made about, and go into the pages of history, forever. One hundred years from now, when we're all dead and gone, and forgotten, Joey Burrow will be remembered, talked about, shown highlights of in training camps throughout the nation. This has to be one of Colin's best vines, he said exactly the reason why I love Football so much and never cared for basketball. My college back in the 1990s is a basketball school- today, balanced due to stadium but still leans towards basketball. The football players in my classes were disciplined, did the work because no guarantee they would go to NFL, the basketball players I had class with - to the man- all thought they were going to be next Michael Jordan, barely showed up for class, some even slept like they were back in high school. I went to school on the GI Bill, so I'm a military vet and the football players were treated like they were in the service, no excuses, shut the F up and do your job and like the military, Football does makes Men...fantastic take Colin, tip the cap!

Arthur Fonzarelli it would be stupid to not play.....sure there’s risk. BUT, by taking a year off you get rusty, you miss gaining new knowledge of the game because there is always more to learn. He would never sit out he’s a competitor.

Dexter Monson Go watch Burrow’s heisman speech. He is super humble and he is confident right now for a good reason. I’m pretty sure if anyone set the records he did and went undefeated on the way to a national championship they would show the same “overconfidence” that you are seeing in Burrow.

Dexter Monson when have you seen him throw a “tantrum” ? It sounds to me like you just don’t like the guy because of all of the success he had or you’re just not buying into the hype......

I totally agree here.. good story all around. Also, a guy that's never lost will greatly benefit from this loss. Trevor will be back and better next year, and one loss more prepared for the NFL when he inevitably gets drafted by an awful last-seed team, that will lose a decent amount of games. It was good for him, all around.
@JamesAllen-im6eq
@JamesAllen-im6eq 4 жыл бұрын
I would add Justin Fields to the Trevor Lawrence commentary. Justin has always been the best player on the field--until he threw 2 of his 3 interceptions in the Clemson game--the final one which lost the game. That devestating pick will fuel his real strength, like Trevor, to be always the best player on the field. For.both of them, their battle for superiority continues next season and their losses will frame an epic battle on their way to the NFL.

Joe Burrow was not kicked to the curb by Ohio state, He was in line to be the backup for JT Barrett but broke his hand in the spring. Elevating Dwayne Haskins to the backup role. Haskins narrowly edges him out for the starting spot in 18 and proceeds to break every passing record in Ohio state history. Ohio state was very forward with Joe, telling him early that they were going with Haskins so Joe could transfer
