For ive been looking forward to is why giving rookies reps matters. We gotta see more from the ypunger guys and give them the opportunity to get some of the growing pains out earlier in the season. I like seeing some the guys showing potential and cleaning up issues. DJ Ivey has been a big one for me seeing him comeback from injury is something. Abother big thing is the younger guys on the Dline. Sam Hubbard it just was a rough year. But this will be crucial in giving our other guys more looks and reps especially Murphy who we need to bring up to speed with reps in these games. He is gonna be a focal point hopefully and we have to give him the chance to gain that experience and he was done a disservice by not getting the reps that Hubbard was getting. Along with Jris Jenkins and Mckinnley Jackson. The Dline for the most part is young and they need to gain confidence by playing.

Been saying this for awhile, Bengals don't need some sort of offensive guru. They need an old school, hard ass football coach that can inspire a team. Burrow and Chase are going to be good regardless. They need a coach that can get the offensive line to play as hard as they can to protect Burrow. A coach that can get a defense to play balls to the wall. Joe Burrow took the worst offensive line in the league and the 15th ranked defense in the league to the Super Bowl in his 1st full season. The bar to success with Burrow is low. Ed Orgeron won the national title going away with Burrow and Chase for heaven's sake. You need a coach who can meet that. Vrabel would be perfect. Belichick would've been great too.

😂 get off Burrow's jock...their D is the ONLY reason they made it past Tennessee to get to the next round in their SB year...I might add, Joe Burrow even said he had tendencies to hold the ball too long looking to make a play...the o line excuse is getting old

The Bengals' problem is not primarily with the coaching. It's with ownership, the front office and the quasi-manager. They're too tentative, too cheap, and too control oriented. Rule number uno for a successful team: You hold on to your productive, star players come hell or high water. The damage experienced by the team is due to ownership's crazy disposition to guaranteed money and cheapness, the person in the front office responsible for player negotiations and contracts and management's inability with their limited 6 scouts to identify talent. Cheapness is not frugality ... it's just cheap.There's the real problem. It's reported the Bengals have over 100 million in their coffers presently and Burrow has a contract clause that allows 19 million to be re-negotiated to retain other key players. So why is it the pattern is to slap their productive players with franchise tickets? Why? Additionally, as of this year owners can sell up to10% of their fanchise to private parties to raise capital. What is all this ballyhoo that the team can't raise the money, they're too poor to pay their star players? This didn't start during the Burrow era either . This is a protracted problem.There was another Bengals' QB, Palmer, who sat out in order to escape the Bengals' owner. Unfortunately, if things don't change, Joe Burrow will be forced to do the same, because right now his talent is being wasted and his play clock is ticking.

Nah coaching has a big part too
@louiseregan2498Күн бұрын
Nah, not so much as too damned tight. Coaches are all on the gerbil wheel ... training new draftees to replace experienced, key players on a whirle-wind pace. After a time coaches appear incompetent. Anarumo is a case in point. Coaching can always be better but this entire team disintegration began when Bates was forced to walk. Didn't hear much about coaching before this situation. Heard that Bates was greedy and uncooperative. It's continued with the loss of Reader, the treatment of ownership toward Tee and Ja'Marr. The losing beat of cheapness continues. Try Hendrickson is next.

@@kevindukes8185 coaching for the Bengals is a symptom of horrible ownership. No good NFL coaches would ever work for Mike Brown and family. Too much bullshit. Mike Brown loves compliant, milquetoasts like Zac Taylor.

@louiseregan2498.Mike Brown isn't running things anymore.The dude is 90 years old.Even he has said,Katie and Troy,are running things now.They are not too cheap.The good players are getting paid.You,are probably thinking of them letting Bates walk.You can't pay everyone top dollar.There are 52 other players,to be paid.I would not have given Bates $17 million either.He is a safety.They are not worth that much money.They used a 1st round pick,on a player,who was supposed to take his place.For whatever reason,Dax Hill has not worked out.He was rated a top 10 to 15 player,by all the draft sites,I saw.He has just been a bust.It happens.

Burrow has been saving his ass . Get Taylor out of HERE he ain’t it !! He’s not prepared has no game management skills, can’t develop can’t coach he’s a major weakness of this organization. He shldnt be coaching at this level for any team. I wouldn’t trust him coaching at the hs level let alone this level.

Who agrees Volson should not comeback ever as a starter? Plus bengals shouldn’t resign him unless for really cheap as a backup. Sam Hubbard shouldn’t be resigned either or ever start or play much again as DE. He’s to slow and too many bad reads and gets blocked too easily most of the time. Plus can’t get much pressure on QBs if he does almost never gets any sacks.
