As a two-time winner, he should know the goods when he sees the goods! You can see him standing in the back row,, second from the right, of former winners there to validate Joe's inclusion.
@mikeparkerson14973 жыл бұрын
Tebow has become someone I respect a lot more now than I did when he was giving LSU fits on the gridiron. I've always wondered why he was so dead set on being a quarterback. Nobody told him about Paul Hornung maybe. Can't imagine he got two Heisman without learning about the Notre Dame. winner who was drafted by Green Bay and turned into a halfback who occasionally threw passes and kicked all the field goals and exptra points. Did he punt too? I can't remember. But if he could give up quarterbacking for the good of the team, why couldn't Tebow? That's a sde issue now. Tebow has a good head and his in-season call on Burrow's qualifications fot winning the Heisman was spot on. He's a much better analyist that the idiots who can't seem to add two and two without getting one!

I started at LSU in 2010 and my entire family on both sides and grandparents went there. I’m a pessimist always watching the games but the start of that 2019 season idk something changed in me or if it was what I was seeing. But for the first time I truly believed “this was our year” and jumped all over the Burrow wagon and was towing it along until my friends started to see it. I’d heard over the summer our offense was looking completely different and Joe had already stood out last season as the best quarterback I can remember at LSU. I lost of alot people in 2020, family, friends. But we will always have that season together. When Joe stepped up in that pocket at Texas and launched we froze and we all saw the greatness In that moment and it was party bus LSU from that point on and he NEVER cracked. We always made the excuse that “all we needed was a quarterback” and when it finally happened, the rest is history.

He through more than half his TD passes to guys who were pretty welll covered by the opposing teams' DBs. Joe doesn' t have a rocket arm but he can drop a completion into a reciiever's hands only inches clear of a breakup or interception. He threw more accurately than any other QB of that year!

The Plains was a small town with enough Geaux Tigers and Geaux Jeaux signs to have a Bayou State ZIP code. And it looked like every LSU fan in The Plains went to church every Saturday night -- to watch LSU go undefeated. And that church was almost as loud as Death Valley. (They used to park Mike the tiger in a circus style wagon cage by the exit from the visitors' locker room and make him roar into a microphone attached to the P.A. system when they other team ran onto the field. What a show!!

With just a little protection, this guy will be great. Great heart, not cocky but has confident swagger, talented, a natural leader, and just tough as nails. Joe Burrow is going to be great if he can be protected better
