brillent,i really appreciate your descriptions and blows.i hunted for years as a child and youth mostly as a whipper in which fueled my love and passion for not just hunting but for working the hounds,exercising,naming,cub hunting.now at 50 I am drawn back ,this time I want to hunt the hounds.i have been practicing on a horn I got from London.I have a lovely hand made hunting saddle made by Wallace of Limerick.made for me approx. 38 yrs ago.i will most likely begin on foot so I can learn from the bottom up.do you have any tips on how I can teach young green hounds (most likely bassets and beagles) to obey my blows?i would be very greatful for any information.
