Well I so enjoyed this great show = What a voice range you have Joe does the throat not give you trouble = I used to see you many years ago in Ellon Country Club.Aberdeenshire =I Played keyboards and did harmonies in a few bands in my time hence the voice range question - you could probably sing every scale on the piano - unbelievable and what a voice you have= are you still fulltime? I knew Joe's songs for decades. The first song I knew is"Make me an island " when Joe sang it in Brasov, Romania. I was a kid at that time . Later, I remember the song "Hush, hush ,hush, Maria . I was 15 years old, and without understanding much English, I just love it. Later , when my English improved, I realized that because he put his soul in all his singing, I could feel the message of the lyrics, even I didn't understand the words . If course, lyrics are a plus ,always. Now I could listen his unique voice and songs with renewed pleasure, every time. Thanks for all the posts related with the Joe Dolan ! For me he is still alive, and always will be ! I feel like one of the " Lady blue"...🤗🤗🤗

Nu putem compara Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin , Uriah Heep, cu Bee Gees si nici cu Smokie ... După cum nu putem descalifica pe Engelbert Humperdinck sau pe Joe Dolan, comparându-i cu cei de mai sus sau cu The Rolling Stones.. Sănătate multă si trăiască muzica buna !

I met Joe on one or two occasions...Indeed I was at his first live recording for RTE Radio at the O'Connell Hall in Dublin around 1966..Even at that stage his voice (and the band) were a cut above the rest. I think he had "The Answer To Everything" just released at the time. Larry Gogan presented the program which was called "The Seventeen Club"....Happy happy days...when crowds of 3000 and more attended dances all over the country when Joe & The Drifters played their hearts out...R.I.P. Joe...
