I miss this music so very much. I played keyboard in a polka band at wedding receptions, dances, birthdays, anniversaries...ALWAYS loved live music at get togethers. Those days are gone now. Sad.

So sad to here of Joe's passing, he had a great sound. When he played you knew it. He was a master of his accordian. I was able to see & talk to Joe at SNPJ in Samsula, Fla in Oct. Had an oxygen system on him then. I will surely miss him.

Thanks Joe, Love your accordion. I was so happy to meet you in person at last years Slovene Fest and talk with you. Wow what a guy and sound!!! The last song on this tape attributed to Andy Nestor was one that I wrote and shared with Andy Nestor in Fontana at the button box Memorial Day Bash . Wow they really improved on it. Thanks Andy for sharing it with Joe. Vince

I'd love it if one of those accordionists would start bellowshaking. Great sound; just wish it was a bit more polish!

Then you should listen to the Polka Family band, Fedorchak is Slovenian style. Not much knowledge of polka music?

@@louhoward6865 You are correct--this is Slovenian Style Polkas & Waltzes. I played keyboard in a polka band during the 1970s.

This is the YOUNGSTOWN SOUND ❤ Bellow shaking has its place in small doses. Real Polish polkas though (like the Lil Wally sound) has no bellow shaking...now...Eastern style Happy Louie, Ray Budzilik etc has that faster tempo that they bellow shake like crazy. Love it all
