Joe Gives Donna An Ultimatum | Halt and Catch Fire

Donna refuses the exorbitant price point to set up a deal for the timeshare program at Mutiny resulting in Joe pulling the plug on Mutiny’s network, shutting the company’s system down immediately. Donna arrives at West Group to talk with Joe. He says that there may be some “wiggle room” on the price point but only if Mutiny can improve its product including a better home screen interface, mail for users, and a switch to Unix as an operating system. If they can do this, he’ll get the price down to $3.50.

The irony here is that Joe's ideas end up being really good as shown in Season 3. Mutiny would have done much better having implemented them.
