This is incredible. Steps one to nine and a half. That's exactly what I did and then I coasted. I felt better than I'd ever felt in my life until one morning I suddenly didn't. The mental obsession returned and I drank again. I spent the next 2 years trying to stop, doing AA meetings every day. I'd never heard any of this before. In fact after seven years in AA this is the first time I'm hearing that steps one to nine and a half is a thing. Amazing

yes joe and mark were 2 of the best teathers on this proccess,if you enjoy them i would recommend finding other talks by people like Bob O and later talks by Clint H or Paul M from Chicago great speakers that truely carry a clear message

I also like Cris R too. I usedvto get frustrated when the Recovery program of action wasn't discussed. Now I've learned to mind my own business and AA is still my way of Life with metaphysical thought and the disciplines of 10 11 and 12. But rework the steps to stay focused on Step One as well. The only thing I disagree with after being hospitalized for kidney failure Joe, and long road to physical Recovery and being a caregiver with my parents older age online meetings and speakers for me and people I've heard at in person meetings these online and cd meetings are VITAL to our recovery. Especially mid aged people like me with health problems and people on the road who make a living as truck drivers and such . I know myself wouldn't throw that around because with a grand central head it could make a person ambivalent. We are human and don't have the same experiences. Or robotic. So I had to get that out or I'm sure AAwouldnt be so prevalent on you tube. I never told Anyone to stop doing if its working for them in Recovery. I would be remiss if I didn't say that . Plus you are right " what does God say" , think about it. I've heard people talk like what you said and go out. !

Thanks Joe. I've been listening to you and Mark since I got sober going through.the Denver style of the Steps. I was ostracized by my home group for saying the same things and taking practical action on the All 12 Steps. Actually I'm going through the Dener style.again thoroughly. All amends. I didn't make alot of friends in later Recovery because of the newcomer gaslighting.and rumors but I want to thank you for your piches and Mark Housten RIP. I've been clean and sober for a while now and unfortunately I ended up in the hospital with kidney damage. Thank you again. Like you and Mark are my home sponsors.
