Yes, I’m very certain this is the version from the book listed under the ABRSM syllabus. There are many other arrangements from different piano books, each slightly different. How to know when to step on pedal?

I like to change the pedal when the harmonies change. For this piece, I applied the pedal on Phrases 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, and at the ending. I change the pedal every 2 beats, but if the harmony changes more frequently, I adjust the pedaling accordingly. In my opinion, the style of this piece isn’t as expressive as something like Yiruma’s River Flows in You, so I prefer using half-pedaling instead of full pedaling. I hope this helps answer your question! 😊
