Wow, thanks for capturing this! I just found out about his worldwide tour but it's months too late to get tickets anywhere near home. You did a great job shooting the concert and got amazingly good sound, which of course is essential for appreciating music on video. Now I feel like I didn't miss out after all. Love the movies and all of Joe's diverse contributions 🎵

There are some previous interviews where he said he was scared of Americans and was always very hesitant of going to America and doing concerts. He did a concert a few years ago in LA and it went so well that he decided to try NY. It of course also went incredibly well. I think this crowd though was a different experience altogether. You could see he feels the love on that stage. He’ll come back I’m so sure of it! Hopefully he can make a yearly thing like JW does!

I do hope so.. Hollywood bowl just brings a different magic, both for the audience and the performer. Now that Hayao Miyazaki is done making films maybe Mr. Hisaishi’s schedule would be more open for touring 😊
