I’ll never understand why this guy never got more popular. You don’t even have to be a fan to know that this guy has serious talent. I like a handful of his songs (I’m mainly a rock guy). But from what I hear, this man deserves more recognition. Especially his newer stuff like “lay you down” and “so I can have you back”.

IMO unfortunately, because he was in the R. Kelly, Brian McKnight and Usher Era...He could compete talent wise but as a sex symbol he just wasn't on they're levels. Which caused him to lack popularity and ultimately hurt his overall record sales. That's just my opinion...🤷🏾‍♂️
