@nepalesejam7505......Joe Jama / Perales Jnr ['Chicano' soul singer] wrote and performed this classic 'Northern Soul' record on the San Antonio-based [Texas] Optimum Record label in 1969. It was actually a 'double-A' sided release ['Sleep late my Lady Friend' was the official 'A' side]. Extremely rare and hard to get hold of an original copy nowadays - fetches around £2500.
