⁠@@Venja6how about all of bailout layups from the other team? And not the actual good layups, I’m talking the BS ones 2k gives you no contest on or just doesn’t allow them to miss. Layups are WAY more OP than dunk meter. But only if the player uses the layups correctly. I do not believe taking up a layup with someone directly in front of you and getting bailed out by your badges is a good take. That’s just using the game to your advantage. Interior defense does not exist this year so all those BS layups go in.

Swag and durk definitely shoulda had that easy. You trippin bro, mello is a good 2k player but that layup shit corny this year. Don’t get me wrong, dunk meter is OP too but it’s easier to stop over a layup. Layups can be triggered from anywhere on the court (depending on your motion etc) and with that being said it doesn’t matter how good of defense you play. Interior and blocks are very poor this year so those layups go in WAY too often. 2k also depending on animations just allows players to make those shots. I’m sure all of you have seen the animation before where you’re in perfect position with hands up and as soon as the other person goes to shoot your guy magically takes his hand down while you have stick up (it also happens in lane steals A LOT). Layups are a good high percentage shot but this game causes them to be busted. Majority of 1s builds don’t even have driving dunk due to how OP layups are.

Like heavily contested layups are so easy to hit in this 2k I have builds with like 80 layup and I can hit like multiple 40-90% coverage layups if there is green window on the meter it just that 2k sometimes doesn't give green window on like unde 40% coverage layups but if there is green on the meter you are able to hit it my most coveraged layup this year is 98% greened

Been saying the layup timing has been the move, you only need like 86 layup and you can make red contested layups almost every time. If you learn to do advanced layups everybody starts flopping with the stuff you be doing to people
