Este gran artista tuve la fortuna de conocerlo en el año 1988, para en ese entonces yo trabajaba de bus- boy en una discoteca muy famosa que se llamaba (LA BAMBA NIGHT CLUB) era un lugar texano, aquí en la ciudad de Dallas Texas. Ahí iban muchos artistas del género, entre ellos Selena Quintanilla, la sombra de Chicago, la mafia, David lee garzas y los musicales, pio Treviño, little joe y la familia, Roberto pullido, chely lares, entre muchos más que aún ya no recuerdo, tenía yo 14 años yo casi no los conocia porque acababa de llegar de México tenía un año de estar aquí en 🇺🇸, si yo hubiera sabido que un día serían tan fomosos me hubiera tomado fotos con todos ellos, en especialmente con la Reyna de la música texana (SELENA), era muy joven tendía unos 17 o 18 años, era muy amable con todas la meseras, se sentaba a platicar con ellas en el intermedio cuando le tocaba descansar de tu tanda, a todos ellos lo traía un señor que ya en paz descanse: Simón the diamond Molina, el era locutor de una radio texana aquí en Dallas, si alguien lo conoció no me dejara mentir. Tiene razón yo lo conocí hace mucho Tienpo y Sienpre fue una gran Persona muy decente Lo conocí en los 80, apenas comensaban, y le comento yo trabajaba en el mismo lugar donde tocaban y si lo vi muy correcto terminaban de tocar y a sus casitas con sus Esposas y Familia por qué Joe Lopez estaba casado y amaba muchísimo A su Esposa, yo creo que Sienpre la a amado, la que tiene ahora es otra Señora, la prim era muy Bonita, En Ese Lugar había muchas Mujeres Y muy bellas y yo nunca vi a ningúno de los músicos salir con ninguna , Joe López Sienpre será un hombre bueno y bondadoso, y con una gran ternura, por eso siempre lo admirare,el malo nace malo y se muere malo, recuerdo que con solo mirarlo a los Ojos y era muy vergonzoso, Buen Chico.

Los arregos de Brando Mireles, son unicos en la musica. Aunque Noe era bueno, con Brando, la musica de Mazz adquirio el estilo que revolucionó la musica tejana.
