I totally agree with you! I'm french and i think Joe is the best young singer i have never seen! He has an amazing voice and he is by far the best X factor winner! He should be an international popstar! I'm sure nobody knows him in France.

I think he sings this as well, if not better than Adele. Dance, pop, rock, classical or soul, it does not matter, he is just an incredible live performer. Tickets for the November Classic tour are on sale now and of course the album is selling out everywhere. Talk of an international tour in 2012. Hope he comes to America so I can see him in San Francisco.

This is really the type of thing that Joe should be singing, not Katy Perry-esque pop because his voice is too good for that, and not full-blown opera (yet) because he hasn't develop enough in that direction to sound professional. But this kind of thing he can sing as well as anyone! Thanks for sharing with those in the U.S. that only know Joe from KZbin.

Joe's version is so much better than Adele's. Her voice is so flat and boring. Joe's has all those different tones. This performance is stunning, especially considering his really sore throat on that day. Although i like the fact that his voice is a little rough around the edges on this song. Makes it even better!

@FELLOWNUTTERS adele isnt loved cuz of her ability to sing, she is loved because of the soul she puts into her songs, Joe is an amazing singer, but he is just singing the lyrics he isnt singing the pain. Thats why Adele is the Queen of Soul.

I don't see this how this could only be sung by a woman, unless you're heteronormative in your thinking. Joe could be singing about a bisexual ex boyfriend who settled with a woman so he could have biologically related children. And in this sense, I think it adds another layer to the original lyrics.

Just want to comment on Hazel's double standard. Hazel you say on P4ula's video that people ought to watch Joe on VEVO and yet you are doing video's of him too. That doesn't make sense. Only want to add that her video's are very beautiful and she is an artist in her own right. Her videos enhance his singing much more that they ever could harm him!!

I totally understand what you mean with keeping the views all in one place, but as I said, Paulas beautiful videos do him much more good than they can ever harm him. Have you seen her video on Joe's 'To where you are'? I think that might have been instrumental for Joe getting invited to the Festival of Rememberance in the Royal Albert Hall in front of the Queen. Now that is some promotion. don't you think?

OK, I'm a big fan of Joe, but this cover is really awful. It lacks the infusion of pain and hurt demanded by the lyrics and it is the sort of song that really should only be sung by a woman. Frankly, this is a song that I don't think anyone should record, because I don't think anyone can sing it better than Adele.
