I LOVE YOU! I remember my parents playing this, when it came out, at their parties! When I knew the song by heart (The ending was favorite!), my Mum said, "Ah! I don't want you to repeat this, in your entire natural life!" Needless to say, I am many, many years older, and just repeated to her and she laughs -- and gives me the story, with the behind the scenes! I've been looking for this -- for decades! Thank you, love!

Anyone out there who has any music by the Great Joe Mensah when he was the lead singer for the Great Chief Bill Friday in Lagos before returning to Ghana. There was an original version of Bonsue/Bosoe he sang with Chief Bill. Okey

It has Fela Shakara Beat. Maybe Fela borrowed from here.

@@kayodeomoregie9886 That is great to know, Kayode. You've made my day. Thanks. Fela lived and played in Ghana for some time with the Kooler Lobitos. Nigeria and Ghana influenced each other so much. Omo daadaa adupw3. Ehye gonn ni. Bobo alafia aye.

They are all cut from the same cloth. This song came after Shakara so Joe might have borrowed from Fela.
