It is very much possible... Using the tempo tap option in any DAW you are using to run your loops... I do this always especially when I don't know the song the singer wants to render... I'll just wait for them to start... After they start the song, I will choose a suitable backing track then use the the tap tempo to automatically sync tempo with the singer then I press play and everything is intact and running...

Sometimes or let me say most of the times ministers work and ministers under instruction and inspiration from the Spirit of God, it maybe that he is instructed to minister old songs until he receives another instruction to sing new songs because believe me every singer wants to minister their newly composed songs in most cases but if you minister under instruction its like this. but trust me the power and manifestation of God's presence is evident.
