I know Wilson is playing bad but even with his terrible numbers, he would still have better stats than Namath did in any year. Yes, he was qb of their only Super Bowl winning team but he had only 2 out of 12 years with more td's than int's. In 13 years in the league, 12 with the Jets, he won 62 games. If he had those numbers today and was a member of the Jets, fans would prefer Wilson.

Have you looked up his stats? A career 50.1% passer with more interceptions than touchdowns in his 12 year Jets career. In only 2 of those 12 did he throw more td's than pics. In 12 years, his record with the Jets was 60-62-4. That averages to 5 wins per year. I never understood why he was talked about as if he was a great player. At his prime, he could not step on a modern NFL field.

He won a total of 62 games in his 13 years. Sure, he had one good year where he led the team to the Super Bowl, but he was never a great qb.

The irony of this coming from Joe Namath, arguably the only former Jets QB with worse numbers than Zach Wilson. Joe Namath only had 2 seasons out of 13 where he threw more TDs than INTs. In Joe's second season, he threw 19 TDs and 27 INTs. At age 32, in his 10th season, Joe threw 28 INTs and only 22 TDs. For his career, Joe lost more games than he won, 62-63-4.
