As a recovering addict myself, I have known that pain and it f3ls as tho u are drowning in darkness. 8 years sober now and rehab was a road I took many times but, that's not what helped me. Many of you I'm sure have heard of the 12 step program, my success has been because of the 1 step program .....Jesus Christ! Need I say more? Keep up the fight, one day at a time, call on The Lord! I myself have battled addiction... I have 3 years clean and sober from methamphetamine. But that's not what this song helped me with.... I'm going through a lot of shit right now and I have no one to turn to so I choose music. I came across this song and suddenly everything I was feeling just lifted from my shoulders.... I may not know you personally but damn it I can feel the hurt and deception you've been through.... Thank you so much for letting me know that I'm not alone in this game we call life.....
