I saw this guy on a random night at a NYC comedy club. Probably a crowd of 30? And only me and one other woman were laughing. And the more he went on and no one else laughed, the more we were in tears at how put off everyone else was. Gave us a friendly nod when he was done, and shook his hand after. Comedic genius

Joe Pera is such a class act, watched his series during covid and found it beautiful and hilarious (in a subtle, slow manner) at the same time. His comedy special was also great, loved the bit where he takes the limitless pill. A real genius when it comes to the craft.

It’s one of the most resplendent things that kept me sane during the pandemic and it’s totally confusing as to why it was cancelled considering what trash Adult Swim has kept afloat for years. David Zaslav is the culprit. I'm sure if it were up to Joe we would've gotten many more seasons and a satisfying conclusion. Warner Bros Discovery as a whole is in debt anyways, just take new FLCL as an example, 3 episodes per season or, the new season of ATHF coming out later this year, they've only got 5 episodes, they need to recuperate money to make new projects and continuations come to fruition.
