It took me MANY, MANY years to find this film. This used to be one of my FAVORITES as a kid!! The music is so relaxing and soothing. "Joe Raposo" had such a "GREAT" talent for writing music on these little films that he did on "Sesame Street" for children in the early 70s. He was "ONE-OF-A-KIND!!". These WONDERFUL memories will hold a VERY, special place in my heart FOREVER!!

Such lovely, lonely, haunting music.

Just magic everything about this bit just drags me back to the Lil boy in front of a black and white tv in Trinidad back in the early 80s

A calming influence this is. When things in the world were a little less crazy. Thanks Joe!

This is a Philippine Hawk. They are related to the Philippine Hawk Eagle or Brahimy Kite.

The music was always beautiful, but haunting. Joe really knew how to score for these animal films. I always wondered how the camera man managed to get high up in the tree and so close. Usually hawks like to be left alone.

The katydids film doesn’t ring a bell at all. What season is that one from?
