John Gretton "Jocko" Willink is an American author, podcaster, and retired United States Navy officer who served in the Navy SEALs and is a former member of SEAL Team 3. Willink's military service includes combat actions in the Iraq War, where he commanded SEAL Team 3's Task Unit Bruiser, the unit that fought in the battle against the Iraqi insurgents in Ramadi Willink was honored with the Silver Star and Bronze Star Medal for his service. He achieved the rank of lieutenant commander.
Joe Rogan is an American UFC commentator, podcaster, comedian, actor, and former television host. He hosts The Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast in which he discusses current events, comedy, politics, philosophy, science, martial arts, and hobbies with a variety of guests.

Jocko Willink has a right to say this as an ex navy seal. But common, Joe Rogan embracing the suck? Seems like he mostly follow what he finds fun. Being an actor, being a stand up comedian, being a UFC commentor. Having a super succesful podcast where he speaks with super interesting people all the time. Makes millions a month, has a crazy house in Texas.... Yeah, Joe. You are truly embracing the suck.

His life probaly dont suck know but you dont know how he grew up or how he lives even now. He might live like a bitch or he might have had an easy upbringing but you just dont know and youll probaly never know so you cant chat shit about him or anyone else that you know nothing about, idk tho just a thought

Of course if you look at a man at the “end” of his journey it’s easy to say what you are saying. Most comics barely make ends meet and have to work for pennies for years to practice their craft. I’m sure Joe had to fight through a LOT of things in his life to get to where he is today. Don’t judge by the result, judge by the effort put forth.

You are so right. This is exactly what I have been lately feeling while listening Joe on such topics. I mean he successful, rich, etc. But embrace the suck in Sauna, running, etc. I mean come on dude. There are so many people out there who are doing those things by tapping into those emotions and get those things done without making so much fuss about as he is. Also ice baths, DMT, this that. So funny! Jacko I respect for that.
