The New Travel - I totally agree. I put pretty much the same comment just a moment ago without having seen yours first. This chick deserves major endorsement deals with serious money. Honestly though these people are working themselves into an early grave. Such extreme exertion is actually very bad for your body. The best thing is just to be standing up and moving around all day. Or if you can run 5k per day then great. Anything more is just being dumb.

Lol yeah I was a lil disappointed in our boy Joe. He just kept bringing up the time and distance she won by and you could tell she didn’t wanna focus on that. And the insistence that someone has to be juicing. These are people that pay to run these crazy races that (at the time and mostly still) no even knows about and there’s no prize. It sounds fun though. I love exploring things and if I can find one in a blackout area where I can actually see the stars I’ll be on it. Got to start running though I guess 🥳

@@theabhorrentchef7226 Yeah, I think Joe was trying to get some sort of lessons or wisdoms from her the whole time but she pretty much just laughed through the entire interview...looking at the comment session, now I've seen lots of people saying that she's so humble, which I agree. But I think in a way this interview could be a bit disappointing... like what has made her so determined when things had gotten so mad like she's losing her vision and all that and she never thought she was going to quit. I was really impressed, but I was wondering if there're some sort of stories that she was unwilling to tell at the moment or something

Courtney is the Real Deal. She was still there at the finish, welcoming in runners TWO DAYS after she finished. What she accomplished is singularly amazing -- I was sitting at the Road 46 Aid Station (Mile 148.9), Sunday late afternoon, when a race volunteer emerged from his RV and announced that the first runner had crossed the finish line. A few of us guys looked at each other, sort of in disbelief ... but also in celebration that another runner (human being) had just achieved something that was beyond our collective imaginations. It was a tough course -- including the elevation deltas and some rather technical trails plus avoiding the free range cattle and making sure not to take an impromptu trail nap on a cacti. What is even more amazing is that this was the 3rd race in the 200 Triple Crown (Bigfoot 200 / August, Tahoe 200 / September, Moab 240 / October). I had the privilege to run with a few of the folks that were wrapping up The Triple... they are amazing inspirational individuals.

Also In between RRR and Moab she ran a 50 miler in Denver and won overall there as well. I was racing my first 50k and I had passed her early in my race and recognized her. Later on I was struggling and she passed me back and had told me to keep on pushing and I ran with her for a few miles before she dropped me. Anyways she helped me through to my first ultra finish and she has inspired me to be greater. Keep on goin Courtney!

I could beat her in a mile race. I don't run. I'm athletic and would bet my life I can best her in athleticism in one way or another. Just because she ran a really long time doesn't make her some amazing athlete that you should change your philosophy because of. She didn't do anything exception imo. There are people who jerk off for 20 hours. Who the fuck cares? She's getting credit for doing 'the most'. That isn't athleticism, it's a freak show. It's a gimmick. She's a fake athlete.
