Random Anthony Jeselnik Story Here: I worked as cashier a few years back in Alaska, met a guy with the last name Jeselnik, asked if he was related to Anthony Jeselnik by any chance. He actually said, "Yeah, he's my cousin." in which I replied, "Oh wow, that's pretty cool. I like his stand up!." in which he replied, "Fuck that guy, he's an asshole." End of story. I think most of them are projecting their own terrible social skills. Conversations have an ebb and flow to them and this ebb and flow is one that Joe has more or less mastered. He repeats himself a lot, sure, but who wouldn't after having put out well over 1,000 podcasts??? There's only so many untouched experiences one can spread out over such a massive amount of time
