@ with all do respect, love Pageau, but symbolism upside of the ark-types of Peterson would have done little to push the needle of conversation on this platform. The number of worldview questions answered for the Joe Rogan audience was like 10 for 10.
@bradspitt389613 сағат бұрын
@systemrevolt7309 There were no worldview level questions in here. If you think symbolism wouldn't do anything, you don't understand it, specifically because of your worldview. He actually got into a little bit of it when he talked about "there will be no more sea." But that should've been the focus on why you see similar stories. Symbolism is the ancient worldview. More specifically a hylomorphic worldview.

Yes very mysterious, we must ask him about the 500,000 children that go blind each year. Or the 4.9 million children that die each year before age 5. @trickg8994 A trinitarian soldier. He teaches late 3rd century teachings from the pagan Catholic church. The ones that removed Yahweh 7000 times out of the Bible and replaced it with the title Lord. So that when people read scriptures such as John 17:26... they see se bipolar figure who is talking to himself. But was that the case? In that scripture of John 17:26 Gods word says, "I have made your name known to them and will make it known..." Not "I have made my name known." Then trinitarians argue this point but still do not use the name Jesus obviously wanted us to know and use. And based on the new testament the name he prayed to was not Jesus. Lies upon lies Lies all stem from...Satan. John 8:44 ends calling Satan the Father of the Lie. Not truth would ever come from him Not here to change your beliefs. These lies are just too easy to spot. Try reading a Bible with Yahweh back in, and you'll see a completely different teaching. One that is clear to understand and one that never contradicts itself. There is no mistery.

The word "world" there had a different meaning than what everyone today would think when they hear that word. It actually mean "land of Roman Empire" or "Known World' essentially. Also, in later decades when other NT books were written, the use the exact same language and state that it HAS BEEN fulfilled. That prophecy was fulfilled before 70 A.D and within the lifetimes of the disciples. Not only one time but four times in later NT books of the bible we get confirmation that it had been fulfilled. Sanctification: God’s Work, Not Yours Let’s get this crystal clear because too many people twist this into knots. This isn’t just theology. This is truth that sets you free.
@hkazmie12 сағат бұрын
Sanctification is God’s job, not yours. Period. It’s not you “trying to get holier” or “cleaning yourself up.” It’s God, drawing you closer, cleansing you, making you His. It’s the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit who sets you apart as His own. You don’t contribute to this-it’s all grace, all Him. “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Cor. 1:30) Did you catch that? Christ IS your sanctification. Not your effort. Not your discipline. Him. It’s not about you “finishing a process”-it’s about God claiming you, cleansing you, and keeping you close
@hkazmie12 сағат бұрын
Good works? They’re evidence, not currency. They’re the fruit of God’s work in you, not the thing earning your standing before Him. James got it right: “I will show you my faith by my works.” (James 2:18) Good works don’t save you. They’re the fingerprints of a life touched by God. They don’t build the foundation-they show you have one. They are proof that sanctification is happening, but they’re never the fuel driving your faith. Understand this, or you’ll fall into the trap of thinking your righteousness comes from your behavior instead of Christ’s finished work.

How are you talking about God yet advertising adult content on your page? Ephesians 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

I love that Wes has no issue with saying, “I don’t know”. That is a good sign of a person who only speaks to what he is certain about.
@michaelseay978320 сағат бұрын
If that’s the case, then when asked about what really happened on the 3rd Day At The tomb of Jesus, he should just say “I don’t know” instead of pretending to know.

I use to believe the Bible was man-made and mythological. Went through my own rebellious path for 20+ years into New Age teachings. Fell into deep darkness, hopelessness, severe depression, anxiety and addictions. June 21, 2020, on Father’s Day, Jesus supernaturally and miraculously healed and delivered me from it all. I am a new person and a baby Bible nerd lol and He turned everything in my life around for a greater purpose. My relationship with Jesus has been the most spiritual experience of my life in these 4.5 years. And ironically as a Jew, I’ve never felt more Jewish and complete in my soul than following the Jewish Messiah. Jesus’ unconditional love for us and an intimate relationship with Him fills that void that every human, without knowing, yearns to be filled ❤
