It’s referred to as a pre shot ritual. It’s something you can replicate every time before you take a shot. It’s something familiar and relaxes you. Watch professional pool players they all do something slightly different but it’s generally the same thing. You’ll also notice how Joe lines his stick up usually two times before actually striking the cue ball, dude is a beast!

Joe is a good player, but he's a bit of a banger..... at least from what I've seen of him play on KZbin. He tends to hit with too much energy, making his position play harder to control. He is accurate and would be a tough player in a league match, I bet.

@@highjim7778 no, it's because Americans have no desire to play snooker...it's so freaking boring. That's like telling a major league baseball player that they couldn't play cricket. Pool and snooker are two way different games. Might as well throw billiards into the mix. And yes Joe is a banger. Hes a 6 at best. Doesnt make him bad hes just not good. Tbh theres no reason for him to be. Hes good at a lot of other things. It takes atleast 8 hours a day for years and years to be a good pool player. I did that. I'd punish him on the table no matter the game but hes better at other things. Not saying im a pro because these days i have to work for a living, all im saying is hes a little disallusioned because he maybe spent a short stint in pool halls and learned a few things. He will beat an average bar player.

I grew up with one of those in my basement, but it wasn't tricked out like that with the shelves and everything set up like a real hall. That is great brick masonry like in the old halls. That is a masterpiece. Is the Ghost of Fats Domino around from time to time? That first shot was something else. Call it camera rust. He was "touched on the shoulder by the invisible man". O&A Reference You spazed out man. It's like archery. Quiet and slow your breath let all the chatter stop. Think like a chess player He's thinking about his draw to the next shot too much and talking. He misjudged distance. When you have one at the pocket, look elsewhere to attack. Joe's gonna take your money dude. Look at that hat.

Pool is game if u take month break you gonna miss easy shots and stuff so joe is so busy nowdays im not sure if he got time to keep his pool skills sharp and missing balls is normal only top pros hardly ever miss if they can see a ball, im 15y of pool player and i have seen personally joe play he was actually pretty solid and would estimate if u started today it would take you 4-7 years of almost daily pool to get to his level(unless u has experience then its different)
