It's all about balance. Discipline and strength is great and virtuous, but a lot of guys that go too far into that route end up bitter and lonely. What people like Jordan Peterson are saying is that if you act like a pacifist, but don't have the will or strength to be anything other than a pacifist, that just makes you weak. True pacifists are people with the capability to not be a pacifist, yet they choose that path regardless. I don't necessarily agree with this, but I guess it makes sense from a certain perspective.

Both can be professional gardeners but one is scared of conflict and freezes up and can't react or defend themselves and are too scared to even try ao they surrender, while the other is quick to react naturally bc they process fear easily and are not scared and have the courage ti stay and fught to protect thier garden.
