Exactly, killian has never shown up for any of the 200+ races so Courtney so far is the best. This guy seems a little off for saying killian is the best even though hes never ran anything half as long as the moab 240.

I don't think it does. Her time in the 2017 race was 57:55:13. Michael McKnight's time in the 2021 race was 55:49:58. She held the record for 4 years.

Mark Maylam there was nothing sarcastic about the supposed drone comment and I took issue in it for not watching the whole video, because evidently the camera in those clips was man-held which made the original comment funny in the first place. This is a sport that amazes me but I will never understand what makes someone decide they want to run 100+ miles. Humans are designed to be ultra endurance runners but they take it to a serious extreme

You realize it's not, so you try something bigger. What first seems "extreme" later seems like a warm up for the bigger race.

Reading one of the books Kilian helped co-author ("Training for the Uphill Athlete") and it is exceptional! One of the top 5 books I've read on running, and I've read a LOT of them. Was so exciting to hear him shouted out and know that I'm studying with a world-class master

My uncle chuck just retired from Ultra marathons at the age of 78 lol he has over 100 marathons and ultras under his belt I believe he has finished 12 100 milers and many many 50 milers .. 78 and would run 15 miles every morning and a on sundays he would run 25-30 miles leading up to an ultra ...

Whatever Courtney is a badass and this guy just wasn't gonna say it no matter what. He has his nose so far up Kilians behind....granted that guy is an amazing athlete but I'm sorry her closest competitor was 22 miles behind and he is a good runner also. I realize that 8 out of 10 maybe the dude is gonna win but when she runs the MOAB240 and wins by over 8 hours just give her the credit....not to mention she is always smiling even when she is dying inside. She laughs and jumps in the air kicking her heels together. She has the best attitude and the France dude I can never remember his name he is funny too. Courtney is my girl.

Good one! I ran the vertical km in Chamonix about 5 years ago, remembering how Killian over took me 15 min in , he was about 10 places behind me at the gate (runners leave the gate every minute to stave roadblocks). Kilian won that race easy clocking in about 30 somthing minutes my time for refranance was 54 min which is just about the course avrage any one can sign up.

Killian Jornet is amazing, he is the Goat, but he's done much crazier stuff than this, I can't watch some of the stuff when he's basically speed climbing with no ropes, it's worth noting as a mountain runner myself that Go-Pro's make ridges like that look much stepper than they are in real life, the wide angle lens and looking down distorts the view a lot.

Yes, She is. A lot of people don't realize that the gender gap all but disappears over the 100 mile mark, and the longer the distance, the better women perform. Sadly, some guys out there discredit wins by women, saying they must be only because "so and so" didn't race that day. That's not how sports works... a superbowl win isn't worthless because a star player on the other team had the flu.
