He did in some sort of way. All the controversies caused him to restrict himself into making a very limited and restricted content, such as reviewing Reddit most of the time, as he can't risk making any other content, since he can get demonetized for literally anything he does. It's great that his content is still entertaining considering his options, but if he just wasn't the target of companies and youtube due to his popularity, then he could allow himself to create more interesting content. At this point IDK why I'm saying this, but he succeeded at a certain cost

joe saying “downloads” instead of views is absolutely hilarious to me.
@Fr33mx4 жыл бұрын
In a sense a view is a download, since you literally are downloading the video onto your hard drive to play it. There's this thing called 'Cache' which browsers use to store all the info needed to process the internet page you're viewing, and it is stored on your PC'a hard drive. It is temporary though, but still, saying 'download' instead of 'view' isn't that far from truth, I'd argue it's closer.

We need to have Pewdiepie on the podcast or Joe Rogan hosting meme review. Edit: to all the close minded commenters. Your feelings towards joe or Felix are irrelevant. And whether they themselves like or dislike one another is irrelevant. The main goal is to open up dialogue, especially with those who you disagree with or don't know a lot about. Joe has a lot of people on his podcast that he disagrees with. Those are some of the most entertaining, in my opinion. They are two very down to earth people with a large internet following, and they'd be able to bring a huge audience and have an entertaining dialogue. Also, I encourage anyone not to engage with trolls. They feed off your attention alone. The most annoying thing you can do to them is ignore them.

Whatevs. Btw, we still donate monthly, and i also came to remember that felixes legit, non special occassion, “merch”, isnt quite merch. His wife, Marzia, has been running and designing an affordable, high quality brand by some japanese name i cant remember how its spelled, but i can hear it lol like suki? Szuki? My point is.. theyre not BroFist logoed.. its an affordable merchline thats high quality, however. More of a Marzia project. Far as other types.. its through sponsors, like GFuel PewDiePie shakers etc, thats all run through G fuel.. so i cant say for certain on THAT bc im sure G takes a nice chunk of that $. But far as CHANNEL ADS and MEMBERSHIPS and DONOS. 100% Charity. ❤️

Joe, the WSJ is fully aware that they are essentially lying about Pewdiepie. They don't care that it was taken out of context. They are terrified of becoming irrelevant in this new age of internet media. Advertising dollars are harder and harder to find - so instead of improving their own content, they decide to hamstring the biggest KZbinr ever.

@@TACOGOODLOOKING My KZbin was on Autoplay for some reason, and it started playing right after another *recent* video in which Pewdiepie is talking about Vox taking cheap shots at him, followed by another video in which someone hacked WSJ to issue an apology to Pewdiepie. So when this one played while I was doing the dishes, I didn't realize that it was so old, I just commented. My comment is still valid as a criticism of the WSJ today, so it works. Also, because it was in *my* autoplay, it was probably in other people's autoplay as well, which means that new conversation threads can start. Papa bless.

Regardless of Pewdiepie adpocalypse would’ve happened anyway, it just precipitated it. It wasn’t an attack specifically on Pewdiepie, but on KZbinrs as a whole to put the plateform in the medias conglomerates. I’m not into conspiracies or anything, that the reality of what happened after that. Channels that still get a lot of marketing are only those supported by some agencies, it’s a way for businesses to be only associated to people that don’t make content on controversial subjects and that share their political agenda if they have some. There’s still ads on KZbin it’s just harder to get them.
@Mayhzon6 жыл бұрын
Sometimes PewDiePie has them too, if he manages to make a video that is treated as "family friendly" by the algorithm. The latest one where he plays some melee fighting and magic game in VR had 6 ads on a 15:00 minute time scale.
@drunkenmasterii32506 жыл бұрын
Mayhzon oh yeah he still has them, he’s way too big not to. I just meant that it’s easier for creator signed with big corporations to get a lot of sponsors and to raise in the KZbin ranks. It’s not a coincidence why KZbinrs start promoting the same products all at the same time. It’s like Lootcrate that was promoted by everyone even pewdiepie (he was signed with Disney at the time) suddenly a product is everywhere on the plateforme and that’s the type of power medias agency want to be able to offer in term of marketing. That’s what KZbin is allowing for right now because that’s where the money’s at.

Why does everyone seem to hate Sargon? I think the guy is smart and very well spoken. I don't get it.

Charlie Tries he's not as smart as he thinks he is. He believes some dumbass shit and says it with such arrogance as if it's everyone else who is dumb for not getting it. And he disingenuously pretends to be liberal while cheerleading for Trump and bashing liberals 24/7.

Joe rogan to guest : you tell the story as youre more knowledgeable on it than me. Guest : ok so heres what happened Joe rogan :blan blah blah im gonna interrupt and talk over the top of you now and turm what should be a 3 minute explanation into a 13 minute video Dont get it twisted. Love the podcast and 95% of the guests i just wish that he would just stfu sometimes and let the guest speak. I mean we even see the guy roll his eyes and sigh cos rogan wont let him finish a sentence.

Agreed. I hate people who interrupt and joe is by far one of the worst. Why even have guests?! He could just talk to himself.... which he almost does....
