True but there is a set of rules fighters follow in competition. These rules are there for safety. I don't think any consciences fighter is okay with breaking the rules to hurt someone. Take a BJJ class for instance. If there is someone who is deliberately hurting people even when the person they are rolling with is tapping that school will most likely weed that person out. ie, either hurt them in return or ask them to leave. Same in MMA schools.

One time in art class I think it was, his mate was winding him up poking him with a pencil and giving him a dig in the arm when the teacher wasn't looking that sort of stuff when suddenly he picked his mate up, bounced his head against the table and bit a chunk out of his neck - it took 4 people to drag him off and that was his best mate. Oh MY Joe-Joe is SUPER -BAKED in this video........ his eyes are bloody and droopy !!!
@Tertle855 жыл бұрын
He held holds because he lost a fight when he released a hold on a fighter as the ref was on his way to seperate the fighters. After that he wouldn't let go until the ref pulled him away.
@JamesHussain825 жыл бұрын
Shaun Albrecht pretty sure that’s the rule anyway. Keep hold until the ref says stop! Not seeing or feeling a tap
@boxingmaster26635 жыл бұрын
Shaun Albrecht he would keep holding after refs tried to get him off hes awesome
@nicholastaylor32345 жыл бұрын
He knowingly goes past the point of tapping. He tries to hurt people. He is a POS.
@devo2295 жыл бұрын
Then how are you explain the ones when the ref is pulling him and he still doesn't stop

Pahlhares is no joke. And legocks in MMA is amazing. In general outside of MMA you can finish and snap reallllll quick when your on his level I mean he could cripple any of those dudes for life.
@faded0393 жыл бұрын
He probably holds onto his submissions so everyone opponent he's had gets hurt while he ascends to the top. A horrible strategy.

Jake Shields sued him and everything if I'm not mistaken
@jerryb47055 жыл бұрын
Did he? I know Shields got in trouble for the Punch after the submission which I think is BS because it was justified in my opinion that Dirty Fighter is lucky he didn't get worse.

Why? Those are the competitors everyone but you wants to see.
@AJ-xv7oh5 жыл бұрын
If you banned everyone on roids. There wouldn't be a UFC.

Joe said Palhares was the first person to be banned from the UFC for holding a submission, that was 2010. Babalu was banned in 2007 from the UFC for holding a choke too long.

Pat B 22 no disrespect... I really don't understand your comment, what are you trying to tell me? I'm simply saying it is not about your size necessarily... It is about skill training and discipline.!! Any great fighter will tell you the same.!!

babalu sobral was the first to be dropped from the UFC for not releasing a submission. He choked out David heath at UFC 74, after David Heath tapped out.
