Root may surpass Sachin even in total test runs.

Yes he should break the record of GOD!!!

First, Sachin is not a GOD. He did not win more matches for India and not even any major international championships. His performance in world cups was not that great. He is a human beatable by a good margin. He played longer to create records but Joe Root will overtake Sachin in a lesser no. of matches.

Root will break most fifties in test cricket very soon.. Now root has 64 fifties.. Jus 5 fifties required to beat most fifties in test cricket, coz sachin has 68 ..

Every 100 is a fifty just like every square is a quadrilateral

@vickyksr no.. U r mistaken.. I'm talking about only fifty.. Not fifty+ scores.. If u got out on 99 .. It will b said as an half century only.. But not century.. But it will b 50+ scores.. But I'm talking only 50s .. Which root 5 more to surpass sachin..

@@kishorenaag You did not understand what I meant. We are measuring an achievement here so it should be 50 plus scores. If someone is a good player and converts each of his 50 to 100 then he should not be penalized. Otherwise measuring below hundred 50 is like creating a record for mediocrity.

Sachin played in the easiest era of test cricket where there were flat pitches everywhere. The hardest year to bat was 2018.

@ really! Lol if that’s the case the quality of bowling in tendulkar’s era was far far more superior than 2018

@@GK-nq3co starc, bumrah, Cummins, hazlewood, malinga and more enough to dismantle any team. You’re to nostalgic and it blinds you. Icc said themselves 2018 was the hardest year to bat. Everyone and their mother had a 50 average back then, ever wonder why? Cause of flat pitches. In this era there are barely any with a 50 average in batting. Even kohli doesn’t anymore.

@ 🤣🤣buddy shows how limited knowledge you have regarding cricket.Glenn mcgrath, brett lee, shaun pollock, allan donald, warne, murali,Wasim, waqar vs 2018 bowlers🤣 They would destroy them every single day.Starc and cummins wouldn’t even feature in the top 5🤣🤣.Besides back in the day pak and sl were also strong contenders not like the weak minnows they’re now and only 2-3 teams dominating in test cricket nowadays.Their averages were above 50 because they had the class and temperament unlike the 💩t20 cricket that has destroyed red ball cricket drastically with players lacking the patience nowadays.
