@@wglenbatemanjr9729 Don't bother generalising your journey to others. What you need to make sure is that you enjoy yourself & are way better than the way you used to be - NOT comparing yourself to others. Other people have their own journey & enjoyment, which is out of bounds to your narrow-minded opinions.

Imagine if they never found eachother when they were kids..we probably would of never heard their names and go on to be who they are if they didn’t compete and push eachother to get better and more unique to have their presence on stage known.seeing them live is on my bucket list, but it’s doubtful ill ever have the chance. And i was really tryna get Vai to get me pregnant during the show and satch to abort that fetus before it ends too 😂👌🏻

Satriani is irrelevant. He is not a guitar hero. He is so average. I can play like him. His music is naiv. So: No. It is not. The story is irrelevant.

@@Whatever3232323 if you are as good as satriani why haven’t you earned 15 Grammy nominations? It’s called confidence and skill. That’s what sets satch apart from people like you. And I can say for a fact you can’t play half as good as him.

I guess everybody's got a position on what they like, you know preferences. I find these players similar yet not so much. I find Joe a Melody maker and songwriter.Joe's songs tell a story and take me somewhere, possibly to a higher more centered place. Steves' playing i find much emotional plus technical, with a large twist of Zappa campiness thrown in. Steve plays more notes, but because he has to but because it serves his songs better to play lightening fast for longer periods. Ty

Chatted with him for a few minutes, shook his hand, thanked him for all his music and getting me into other guitarists in all the various G3 lineups I've seen over the years, especially when me and some friends went to Toronto to see G3 and I saw John Petrucci for the first time and then got into Dream theater from that. Got a pic (gonna frame it) with me and Joe from the event that I treasure. Cool, awesome guy, besides the fact that he's a guitar playing Legend.

Lee, then SRV, then Satriani, then Vai... ...with Frank Marino, Zappa, Ian Crichton, Steve Howe, Alex Skolnick and Gilmour in between. What guitar journey, I play guitar,I suck at it but have much fun. Steve Vai collaborating with Tim Henson is such a nice thing to watch. Vai and Satriani are genuine gentlemen.
