@@Camcolito Dave Rennie took a team with a 50% win rate and after 3 full seasons he had them down to a 36% win rate. I don't know what ''success'' looks like on your planet, but winning 1 in every 3 games isn't impressive where I come from, it's actually terrible. Rennie was a good dude, but he measurably and objectively made the Wallabies worse.

It's a shame people say ''Australia are on the up'' or that Joe Schmidt is a ''brilliant coach''. You guys need a reality check. ANYWHERE is up from where Eddie Jones had the team. Eddie's Wallabies only won 2 out of 9 games, against Portugal and Georgia, for a 22% win rate. Rennie's was 36% Schmidt's Wallabies have a 46% win rate, which means they lose more games than they win. 46% might be ''up'' from 22% & 36% but overall it's still down from Cheikas 50% , or Deans' 59% Schmidt the goofball that he is, forgot to use his substitutes as impact players this weekend, bringing Edmed on with 6 minutes of game time to go and Potter on with literally 1 minute. Such a poor mismanagement of player energy resources to not have all 23 guys contributing to the game.

Ireland are way overrated. They won and were just the better team. However, they were on home soil and Wallabies made the usual mistakes. James Loesi number 10 for Aus adds very little to the team in general play. Wallabies must find a number 10 who adds more.

How many handling errors and they still won. Sort that out and they will be miles away.
@subhuman119Ай бұрын
Not just them, other teams will be on the decline in the next few years, while others will be on the rise. Ireland are suffering from the majority of their players simply being to old, and simply won't be able to compete at the highest level, the same goes for South Africa. While teams like New Zealand, Argentina, England and Australia have young squads and will only get better.
