This song is real as can be and touches the soul. RIP Joe Simon 🙏🏽

growing up in texas my dad owned a juke joint back in the 70's, 80's in a small town outside of houston. I was a youngster maybe 12 or 13, and all the older women would love to play this record on the juke box. I instantly fell in love with this song, and many more of joe simon's songs.I'm 44 and i will never stop playing all that juke joint magic. pure soul, funk, love, power, and greatness. these artist are priceless. todays garbage ass music has ruined what music is suppose to be like. rip J.S.

I grew up in the same situations during the same years in Ohio. My mother ran a bootleg joint as a kid and we lived upstairs from it back during the 70's and 80's. This whole time I thought I had a one of a kind childhood.
