From 87 to 93 the house music coming out was so amazing. The scene was small and like a family. It was very creative and expressive. After that it went downhill and became too mainstream and commercial. Back in the day it was about the music. We didn’t care about the name of the DJ and we certainly weren’t all facing the DJ booth and worshipping him/her like they do today. The whole notion of superstar DJs is a wank.
